Kwara 2027: We Need Leader With Clear Vision, Track Record Like BOB – Isin Progressives

The governorship ambition of former Kwara APC Chairman, Dr. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB) received another boost on Wednesday as A Socio-political the good people of Isin Local Government rallied support for him ahead of 2027 general elections.

Isin Progressive Like Minds Elders in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Chief Kayode Olaoye and Secretary, Prince Otunola Adeleye described as a leader with proven track record in governance and clear vision for Kwara State development.

According to them, over the years, he has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of Kwarans. His extensive experience across both legislative and executive responsibilities, combined with his unwavering commitment to people-centered development, clearly positions him as a credible and capable candidate for the office.

The statement read in part: “Kwarans are ready for a leader who listens attentively, unites genuinely, and drives sustainable development, improved security, and robust economic growth. We firmly believe that Dr. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB) possesses the requisite experience, competence, and passion to effectively address these pressing priorities.

“We also call on all well-meaning Kwarans at home and in the diaspora to join us in encouraging Hon. Dr. Bolarinwa to step forward and offer himself for the governorship race.”

Isin Progressives expressed confidence in Bolarinwa’s leadership capacity, clear vision, and dedication to service which are critical qualities needed to move Kwara State to greater heights.
