Kwara LG Polls: Irepodun Bubbles With APC Campaign
Irepodun local government is bubbling with ongoing ward-to-ward campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of September 21 Kwara State Council elections.
The APC Campaign Council led by Prof Olaitan Bashir is promoting Party’s Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Abdulazeez Yakubu Tinuola, running mate, Funmilayo Abolude and Councillorship Candidates by engaging stakeholders, visiting markets and touring street-to-street to mobilize support.
The campaign train last week takes off in Omuaran wards and later move to Ajase Ward I and Ajase Ward II.
Yakubu/Abolude team on Sunday visited towns/villages in Oro ward I and Oro ward II to solicit support for APC during Saturday’s local government elections.
Interestingly the Party flag bearer was able to point to his previous achievements as Councillor representing Omuaran ward II and Vice Chairman in the local government.
They are also proudly pointing to various developmental projects of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq across length and breath of the council. The projects executed by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq include roads, water intervention, classrooms in schools, health care facilities upgrade and lot more.
It’s crystal clear that APC would consolidate on previous electoral success in Irepodun local government by securing landslide victory for Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates.
