Kwara LG Polls: Yakubu Meets Irepodun APC Stakeholders

In a strategic emergency meeting held on Monday, September 16, at the Irepodun Local Government Secretariat Hall, Hon. Azeez Yakubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate, mobilized party stakeholders to intensify their campaign efforts with just four days left until the September 21 local government elections.
The well-attended meeting brought together two leaders from each of the 11 wards, Local government party executives, Central Working Committee members from each ward, Directors and deputies of the campaign directorates, All 11 councilorship candidates.
Hon. Azeez Yakubu delivered a rallying call, reiterating his unwavering commitment to the party and promising loyalty and prioritization of party faithfuls during his tenure.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support received and urged stakeholders to focus on Ward 2 Ward campaign and grassroots mobilization, emphasizing the need for collective effort to ensure a resounding victory.
“I thank you all for your tremendous support since the commencement of our campaign. With just four days left, we must intensify our efforts and mobilize aggressively towards actualizing a positive outcome on election day,” Hon. Yakubu stated.
Prince Shuaib Olarenwaju, Irepodun LG party Leader attributed the party’s widespread acceptability to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s people-oriented policies, citing impactful social schemes such as; Owo Ishowo, KWASSIP and Business grants.
“These initiatives have endeared our party to the people, giving us an upper hand in the forthcoming elections,” Prince shuaib noted, emphasizing aggressive grassroots mobilization.
APC Chieftain and party Leader, Chief Raheem Adedoyin Oloriewe, commended the Irepodun APC campaign’s significant momentum, describing it as a template worthy of emulation, as acknowledged by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.
“We must sustain this energy and focus on delivering results. The era of reaping where one didn’t sow is over; genuine support will be recognized and rewarded,” Chief Oloriewe stressed.
On his part, Dr. Hezekiah Oyedepo emphasized that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is undergoing significant overhauling and repairs to address damages caused by previous administrations.
Notably, world leaders have commended President Tinubu’s achievements despite the challenges faced, He said.
Dr. Oyedepo stressed that this accomplishment should be highlighted in the party’s campaign to sensitize voters about President Tinubu’s efforts to create a better Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting demonstrated the party’s unity, determination, and strategic preparedness ahead of the September 21 elections.
