KWHA 2023: PDP Rejects APC’s Victory in Lanwa/Eji Constituency
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Lanwa/Eji Constituency, Hon Hassan Shuaibu Olayiwola has rejected outcome of the just concluded Kwara State House of Assembly election.
In a statement made available to newsmen at Bode-Saadu,the headquarters of Moro Local Government disclosed that his decision was based on evidences of widespread manipulations and electoral malpractices.
His statement reads: “After thorough investigation,observation and analysis of the conduct and outcome of the march 18th state assembly and governorship election in my constituency, Lanwa/Ejidongari which was marred by manipulations and electoral malpractices,It becomes very necessary to reject the conduct and the outcome of the said election”
“The evidences available before us has further proven our stands and will be very useful to us at the court where we are going to claim our mandate.
“We therefore urge our teeming supporters to remain calm and law abiding while we seek redress through all the available legal channels and ensure justice is done”
