Lagos LG Polls: Sanwo-Olu Visits APC Secretariat Ahead of Primaries
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday visited All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat ahead of Party’s primary election to select candidates for 2025 Lagos State governorship elections.
Sanwo-Olu on Friday evening visited the party’s secretariat at Acme, Ogba to assess level of preparation for Primaries for Lagos LG Polls.
FactualTimes gathered that the shadow elections for Chairmanship candidates across 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas slated for Saturday will hold at APC Secretariat.
The Governor said: “As we gear up for the APC Local Government primaries in Lagos, I visited our party’s secretariat at Acme, Ogba. It was important for me to connect with our leaders and members directly, to reaffirm our shared commitment to a process that is peaceful, transparent, and fully aligned with the guidelines set by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
“Our party has a strong legacy of progress and responsible leadership, and I have no doubt that we are poised for another resounding victory in the upcoming council elections.
“I’m also deeply appreciative of the work done so far by the APC Electoral Committee and our party executives in preparing for this exercise. Together, we can uphold the trust our people have placed in us and continue to lead with purpose and integrity.”
The APC primary election for councillorship will hold simultaneously at ward secretariat.
Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius, Party Electoral committee Chairman, Babatunde Ogala SAN and top Party Chieftains were present during the interaction.
