Like Other LGs, Ifelodun Benefits from Senator Ashiru’s Free Medical Outreach
The people of Ifelodun local government of Kwara State on Wednesday enjoy the free medical outreach facilitated by Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Arch Oyelola Ashiru.
The free medical outreach held at Basic Health Centre, Babaloma in Ifelodun local government area with Medical Doctors, Nurses and other health support staff diagnosing and administering medications for participants with different health needs.
This is coming a day after traditional ruler, community leaders, aged, women and others benefited from the medical outreach at Osi in Ekiti local government. Recall that other local government areas in Kwara South; Offa, Oyun, Irepodun, Isin and Oke-ero have benefited from similar health interventions by Senator Ashiru.
At Babaloma, the medical team carried routine check up on hundreds of people by examining Blood Pressure (BP), sugar level and others before administering medications.
The beneficiaries comprising aged, women and other strata of the society were treated for malaria, peptic ulcer diseases, high blood pressure and arthritis.
Our Correspondent reports that patients with Hypertension, diabetes and defective vision were given free drugs while the medical team handover remaining drugs to management of Basic Health Centre, Babaloma.
Dr. Bisi Ogunshola, Wife of Senator Ashiru, Pharmacist Rukayat Ashiru, APC Ifelodun LG Chairman, APC Kwara South women leader amongst others were in attendance.
