The Group Managing Director of LUBCON Ltd, an indigenous oil and gas company, Mr. Adesoji Fagbemi has said the organization is ready to key into the Nigerian Oil and Gas Transformation Agenda.
He made this known at the interactive session with Journalists to mark the flag off of the company’s 30th anniversary in Ilorin.
“Our subsidiary, LUBCON Energy Ltd is the driving force behind LUBCON’s Investments in alternative and sustainable energy projects”, he revealed.
“To support Government Vision, we want to provide affordable solar energy solution to rural areas in Kwara State first and later to other parts of the country” he emphasized.
“We are currently in talks with two Chinese groups to provide solar powered energy for electrification of communities. oils.”
“Lubcon promotes a solid safety culture and encourages training programs-more than 75% of Lubcon work force are training annually in one quality and safety program or the other. Lubcon participates actively in national and international safety forums to exchange experiences and best practices”, he further revealed.
