Matawalle Is Now APC Leader in Zamfara, Buni Declares

…Joins Ruling Party With All Assembly Members

The All Progressives Congress (APC)/Caretaker Committee Chairman and the Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni has declared Governor Bello Mohammed as the party leader in Zamfara State.

Buni made this pronounced on Tuesday while receiving Governor Mohammed into the ruling party in Gusau amidst funfair.

According to him,  Governor Bello Mohammed is the official leader of the Party in the state just as he used the power bestowed on him by the constitution to dissolve the State Executive of Party.

“From now on, Governor Matawalle is the leader our great Party in Zamfara State. You will await further arrangements for new party structure from him” the Caretaker Committee Chairman said.

Receiving the Party’s flag, Governor Matawalle accepted the leadership of the Patty just as he declared his membership of the Party. He called on all party members to rally round him to build a new APC of the peoples desire in the state.

Governor Matawalle also declared his membership of the party along with all Serving Senators, 6 of the 7 house of representative members and all members all the State Assembly members.

Speaking at the occasion, former Governor of the state, Abdulazeez Yari, declared his support and commitment to work for the success of the party just as he prayed for God to prevent any evil from crossing their path in the party again.

The Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, 10 Governors; Kano, kaduna, Kebbi, Borno, Kogi, Niger, Yobe, Ogun, Katsina, Jigawa and Plateau states as well as two serving ministers.

Also in attendance was the first Civilian Governor of the state, Alhaji Ahmad Sani ( Yariman Bakura).
