May Day: Kwara Philanthropist, Olarewaju Oba Felicitates With Worker, Says They Deserves Honour

The Founder, The Olarewaju Oba Foundation, Hon Olarewaju Oba has felicitated with Workers as they celebrate another Worker’s day.

Hon. Olarewaju Oba in a statement issued on Wednesday praised workers nationwide, especially those in Kwara for their contributions to social and economic development of the country.

The statement read:

I am celebrating the International Labour’s Day; it is celebrated annually on 1st May to commemorate the hard work and dedication of labours towards the Nation irrespective of their power and position, roles and responsibilities. Worker’s Day is an honour to the social and economic achievements of the workers. Worker’s Day is also known as ‘May Day’ or International Labour’s Day.

This celebration has become a historic significance all over the world and celebrated by the Labor unions worldwide. Labourers always put in their efforts to make our lives better and indeed they deserve the honour for the work they do.

I, however, gives utmost importance to the hard work of every employee and believes in giving them equal rights.
