Tinubu and Shettima have been accused of being a threat to Nigeria’s democracy for various reasons. Here are some common criticisms leveled against them:

1. Political Control: Both Tinubu and Shettima have been accused of exercising excessive control over the political landscape in Nigeria. Tinubu, in particular, has been accused of controlling the political machinery in various States, leading to a lack of viable opposition and stifling the emergence of new leaders.

2. Lack of Internal Democracy: It is alleged that both politicians do not allow for internal democracy within their respective parties. They are accused of handpicking candidates and imposing them on party members and the entire citizens of Nigeria, thereby limiting the genuine democratic process.

3. Corruption Allegations: Tinubu has faced numerous corruption allegations throughout his political career. Critics argue that his influence over political appointments and control of economic resources has contributed to graft and weakens democratic institutions.

4. Concentration of Power: Both Tinubu and Shettima have been in the process of manipulating the election of Kano state even while is glaring that manipulation can’t happened because of the genuity of the election. No election in Nigeria that is more credible than that of Kano state election, where Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf won with a very large number.

This is the time Nigerians should stand against this bad leaders whose conscience are already lost.
