National Award: Hakeem Lawal Congratulates Nominees from Kwara

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship Candidate in Kwara state, Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has congratulated notable Kwarans nominated for national honours by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Hakeem Lawal in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, noted that the nominees have contributed in great measure to humanity.

His words:  “I congratulate notable Kwarans who were nominated for the 2022 national honours award of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari.

“These distinguished Kwarans are indeed worthy of the prestigious recognition, as they have contributed to humanity in great measure.

“On this note, I congratulate the Kwara South senatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), a world class neuro-surgeon and philanthropist, Professor Wale Sulaiman on his nomination as CON.

“I also congratulate the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the nomination of the Grand Mufti of Ilorin, Sheikh Dr. Sulaiman Faruq Onikijipa Al-miskinubilahi (OON).

“To other distinguished Kwarans who made the list, like Alhaji Lai Mohammed (CON), Hon. Justice Sulyman Kawu (OFR), Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi (OFR), Sheikh Muhammad Tajudeen Adigun (OON), Alh. Kamoru Ibitoye Yusuf (MON), and CSP Benedict Okoh Ajide (MON) who made the list posthumously, I say a big congratulations to them all”, the statement concluded.
