National Squash Tourney: Governor-elect Congratulates Kwara Team

Kwara State Governor-elect AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the representatives of the state at the recently concluded 3rd Ex-pro National Squash Tournament in Lagos.

“I congratulate our team for their inspiring exploits at the tournament. That our representatives are teenagers who have distinguished themselves in this game and characters conducive to such gathering again explains why we must invest in our young people across all sectors,” AbdulRazaq said in a statement on Sunday.

“I am indeed proud of the youngsters who together won two gold, one silver and four bronze medals in the under 13 and 16 of the tournament.”

The Kwara team included the 11-year-old squash wonderkid Mistura Durosinlohun who retained her title as the champion of the Ex-Squash Pro U-13 and U-16 championships for the third time.

Durosinlohun had won the maiden edition of the tournament in 2017 and later in 2018.

The other medal winners from the Kwara Squash team are AbdulRaheem Durosinlohun (gold); Balogun Ibrahim (silver); Ibrahim Kehinde (bronze); Goodness NnnaNa (bronze); Shuaib Giwa (bronze); and Ibrahim Azeez (bronze).
