Nigerian Senator’s Wife Becomes ‘Lord Mayor’ in United Kingdom

The wife of Nigerian serving Senator, Sunday Marshall Katung, Abigail has been elevated to the position of Mayor in United Kingdom.

Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung emerged as Lord Mayor of Leeds City.

She is the 130th Lord Mayor of Leeds City and the first person of African descent to hold the position.

Her husband, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung is representing Kaduna South Senatorial District in 10th Senate.
