Nobody Forced Me To Join APC- Yinka Dallas
Former Chairman , Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, Comrade Ayeni Yinka Dallas on Thursday said he was not forced to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Yinka Dallas gave this clarification at the NUJ secretariat in Ilorin while addressing newsmen.
He said the press briefing became necessary following some agitations on social media that his official defection which holds Saturday, June 12 at Banquet Hall in Ilorin was fake.

“After carefully reviewing reactions and counter-reactions that have continued to trail my official defection to the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, it is expedient I set the records straight and put the rumor mills to bed once and for all.” He explained
“It is, therefore, preposterous to posit that I, Comr. Yinka Dallas was forced to defect to the APC under the able leadership of Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.”
Yinka Dallas added that they are decamping to align with most importantly, the provision of dividends of democracy to the good people of Ekiti local government area of Kwara State, which is the sole purpose of joining the partisan politics in his first place.
He also applauded Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for trusting youths with leading responsibilities in his government was one of the major reason for joining the ruling party.
The former council chairman revealed his plan to volunteer and take the Ijoba Mekunu agenda of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to nooks and crannies of the State through a soon to be unveiled multipurpose vehicle.
