Oloriegbe Bags African Institute of Public Health Professionals Fellowship

 

The Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has been inducted into the fellowship of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals (AIHP) for his unswerving contributions towards the development of the healthcare system and the safety of mankind.

The leadership of the body bestowed meritorious awards on the lawmaker at his Abuja National Assembly’s office, averring that the gesture becomes imperative to appreciate his immense contributions to public health both as a practitioner and as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health.

“We have been following with keen interest your activities as the Chairman Senate Committee on Health, we are impressed by the invaluable roles you have been playing to improve the healthcare system in the country and beyond.

“We are not in ignorance of your appreciable inputs in the endeavour to flatten the curve of coronavirus pandemic, which culminated in Nigeria being adjudged as the one of the best in response to the pestilence by international Organizations.

The session featured the reading of the Senator’s citation which captured the reputable antecedents of the Lawmaker in the Health profession and politics.

In honour of the ethical practice, the Senator swore to an Oath to always conduct himself with the truth and engage in activities that promote the development and standing of the institute.

While expressing his gratitude for the award, the Lawmaker appreciated the leadership of the institute for considering him worthy of the honour, promising not to relent in contributing his quota to the improvement of the healthcare system in the country.
