Ondo 2020: YPP Candidate, Dotun Ojon Shines At BBC Debate

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) Candidate for Ondo 2020 governorship election, Dotun Ojon on Thursday gave good account of himself at the debate organized by BBC.

Dotun Ojon, the youngest candidate in the forthcoming election participated in the virtual governorship debate organized by BBC Yoruba.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu (APC), Eyitayo Jegede (PDP) and Adekunle Adeleye (AAC) also participated in the debate monitored online by about 1000 views.

The YPP candidate while reacting to question on security, said he will rejigg Amotekun law to make it more effective in order to tackle kidnapping, robbery and other crimes. Dotun Ojon added the focus of his administration will use intelligence gathering, database management and technology to tackle insecurity, when elected.

He also pledged to provide quality education and employment for persons living with disabilities, as well as advocate for their emancipation by other people in the society.

The Ese-odo born Communication Strategist and Leadership Coach affirmed that Ondo state needs his knowledge at this critical moment to forward.
