Orisun Igbomina FM Owner, Agboola Bags Award in Lagos 

The Executive Chairman of Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network (OIBN), Ayodele Agboola has bagged award of excellence for his consistency and commitment towards community development.

Ayodele Agboola received the award during the 4th Edition of the Global Excellence Awards held on Saturday,  at the Faze 3 Hotel in Lagos.

The programme was organized by Igbomina Media Communication Concepts in conjunction with Gbedu 100.1FM, Lagos.

The ceremony was part of activities lined up to spice up the annual ‘Igbomina Day’ festival in Ikorodu, Lagos.

According to its initiators, the award night is meant to celebrate and appreciate individuals– including leaders, community builders and captains of industries, whose contributions have had a meaningful impact on building Igbomina territory and humanity in general.

Presenting the award plaque to the representative of the media entrepreneur, the Otunba Gbobaniyi of Ila-Orangun Kingdom, Chief Awofe Afolayan stated that the honor was bestowed on Ayodele Agboola over his continued support for widows, orphans, the elderly, the ill, disadvantaged students, unemployed youths and other vulnerable groups in Osun and beyond.

In his words, “the occasion over the years has become established as one of the biggest gatherings of influential persons in Nigeria.”

Following the recognition, Mr. Ayodele Agboola has now joined the illustrious list of change agents in Ila-Orangun, the ancestral home of the Igbomina people.

The awardee is also the founder of the Ayodele Agboola Foundation(AAF), a not-for-profit organization with the core mandate of reaching out to the target beneficiaries through charity, health interventions, agric support, care for elderly widows, and educational scholarship.
