Osun 2022: Ademola Adeleke Wins PDP Primaries with Wide margin

Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Osun 2022 governorship election.

Senator Adeleke emerged winner with 1,887 votes to Dotun Babayemi and other four aspirant at Osun PDP Primaries held at Osogbo township stadium on Tuesday March 8, 2022.

The election was conducted by Osun governorship primary election committee from PDP  National Secretariat Abuja.

The exercise adjudged peaceful and transparency by all Aspirants and delegates was monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) inline the electoral act.

Final result of Osun State PDP gubernatorial primary election:

1,916 delegates accredited

1. Ademola Adeleke – 1,887

2. Dele Adeleke – 01

3. Akinbade Fatai – 00

4. Dotun Babayemi – 00

5. Akin Ogunbiyi – 00

6. Sanya Omirin – 04

7. Invalid votes – 24
