Osun 2022: Oyetola Appoints Aregbesola’s Top Strategist As Political Adviser
Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyelola has appointed one time Commissioner for Information during Ogbeni Aregbesola’s tenure, Oluomo Sunday Akere as Political Adviser.
The appointment of Sunday Akere as Special Adviser Political Affairs is coming amidst resistance for Oyetola’s reelection ahead of Osun 2022 governorship election.
FactualTimes reports that Oyetola approved Akere’s appointment of Monday.
The former Commissioner is expected to drive strategy for the reelection of incumbent Osun State Governor.
Recall that loyalists of Aregbesola under the aegis of The Osun Progressives (TOP) are working to block reelection of Oyetola in Osun 2022.
