Our fight to end impunity in NUJ is far from over – Dare Akogun
Letter of Appreciation to My Supporters
Dear Supporters,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who stood by me throughout my journey to contest the Chairmanship position of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kwara Council.
Your unwavering support, bravery, show of character, steadfastness, and determination to see a just and fair contest have been truly inspiring.
Despite the numerous challenges and obstacles we faced, including massive disenfranchisement and other irregularities, your resilience and commitment never wavered.
Your belief in our cause for a transparent and democratic process kept me motivated and hopeful.
Although we may have lost the battle, our fight to end impunity in the NUJ is far from over. Let us not lose hope or sight of our goals.
The struggle for fairness, justice, and integrity in our union continues, and together, we will persist until these principles are upheld.
I commend each of you for your bravery and the remarkable character you have shown during this period. Your steadfastness in the face of adversity is a testament to your dedication to our shared vision for a better NUJ.
Thank you once again for your support and solidarity. Together, we will continue to strive for the change we believe in.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Abdullahi Dare Akogun
