…Governor Abdulrazaq Hails Turaki’s Team Spirit

The Turaki of Ilorin and All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has stated his will continue to impact people’s positively, when elected as Senator come 2023.

Saliu Mustapha stated this call on Saturday during the inauguration of his Campaign Team tagged Saliu Mustapha Campaign Organization (SAMCO) in Ilorin, Kwara State Capital.

Speaking on his agenda, the APC Senatorial Candidate said he is already impacting the community positively because he has gone beyond idea.

“As you all know our campaign slogan is doing it differently. We are stick to that. Ours is to make impact, we have gone beyond idea. Somebody can continue to shout big ideas but we are impacting people’s lives positively. Before you start impacting, that means you have ideas. So we have gone past ideas. Our people can see what we are doing to make their lives better.” He added.

“Don’t allow anybody to deceive you. We must work for victory of all APC candidates during 2023 general elections. As you mobilizing support for Saliu Mustapha, you must work for reelection of our performing Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, House of Representatives, House of Assembly and Presidential Candidates. We must record the total victory for APC like 2019.”

He therefore urged his Campaign Team to work for all Party flagbearers in 2023 general elections.

Saliu Mustapha disclosed that he has well equipped campaign offices in four local government areas; ILORIN West, Ilorin South, Ilorin East and Asa for effective mobilization.

According to him, We have campaign offices in four local government areas across Kwara Central Senatorial district. We have equipped the office with necessary facilities including Campaign vehicles to make mobility easy during the electioneering campaigns. The Central Coordinating Team (CCT) will be receiving feedbacks and responding according to ensure our victory during 2023 general elections.

In his address, Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq hailed the virtues of All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, describing as a man of the people and team player.

Governor Abdulrazaq stated that Saliu Mustapha is a man with large heart that love the common man.

According to him, Saliu Mustapha is the man of the people and a team player. He enjoys wide acceptability rating among the people. We believe APC will win big with him as Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate.

Speaking further he said: “The opposition are afraid of Saliu Mustapha because he is a formidable Turaki. Initially their leader (Saraki) want to go back to Abuja by contesting for Senate but he back down due to entrance of Mallam Saliu Mustapha as APC candidate. Don’t allow anybody to deceive you. We have done well. Kwara APC is stronger and united to win 2023 general elections. He want a Senator that will not turn to contractor or use us to negotiate. We want a Senator with strong network that would give us leverage in Abuja and complement the State Government efforts. Saliu Mustapha is already doing these. He is a responsible, responsive and proactive leader.”

“We are clearing mess of previous administrations. We used N3.5billion SURE-P refund to pay gratuity for 2009/2010 retirees. Who was the Governor doing that period? I don’t understand what they are coming back to do. To continue mismanagement of State resources or return us backward where they left the State. No waterway works was working as of 2019. We are fixing the Water works across the state. We have implemented impactful projects across the 16 local government areas.”

AbdulRazaq therefore charged the Campaign Team to canvass support for all APC candidates in order to silence Opposition elements permanently.

While inaugurating the Saliu Mustapha Campaign Team, Barr Abdulkareem said the Campaign Council comprises Central Coordinating Team (CCT), Local Government Campaign Team and 1200 Ward Canvassers.

Kwara APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, State Commissioners for Tertiary Education, Agriculture, Communications and Finances, House of Assembly candidates for Ilorin South and Owode/Onire Constituencies; Yusuf Aladi and Rukayat Shittu, APC Kwara Central Senatorial Chairman, Party local government Chairmen, Barrister Kunle Sulyman and other dignitaries attended the event.
