PDP Exco Suspends National Chairman, Ayu

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended its National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu over anti-party activities.

The PDP Executive Committee in Igyorov Ward of Gboko Local Government Area, Benue State suspended Ayu with immediate effect.

FactualTimes reports that PDP National Chairman was suspended for anti-party activities after passing a vote of no confidence on Sunday.

While reading a resolution, the secretary of the party in Igyorov ward, Banger Dooyum, said the PDP National Chairman’s anti-party activities – alongside his allies – contributed to PDP’s loss in his ward and local government in the governorship election.
