PDP Hits G-Governors’ Allies With Big Hammer

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Senator Pius Anyim, Prof. Dennis Ityavyar and Dr. Aslam Aliyu over anti-party activities.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba disclosed this in a statement made available to FactualTimes on Thursday.

The suspended Party Stalwarts are allies of G-5 Governors led by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

Recall that Wike and four other PDP Governors; Seyi Makinde, Emmanuel Ortom, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Ifeanyi Ikeapzu refused to support Party Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar in build up to the poll.

The suspension of Fayose and others take effect with effect.

PDP also referred the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom to the National Disciplinary Committee over his reported involvement in anti-party activities.

According to the statement, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has after very extensive review of the affairs of our Party in the country and pursuant to the provisions of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017) referred the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom to the National Disciplinary Committee over his reported involvement in anti-party activities.
