Politics Without Bitterness: Kwara Governor Pays Condolence Visit To Cook Olododo

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with House of Representatives member and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Hon. AbdulGaniyu Olododo over the death of his wife Alhaja Fatimah Abolanle Olododo.

Hon Olododo is one of the Kwara APC stakeholders backing the State Party Caretaker Chairman, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa currently having frost relationship with Abdulrazaq.

The Governor however put aside political differences by leading top government functionaries to attend the burial rites of Alhaja Fatimah in Ilorin.

Abdulrazaq was joined by Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi; Senator Yahya Oloriegbe (Kwara Central); Senator Umar Sadiq (Kwara North); Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly Raphael Adetiba; members of the House; Secretary to the Government Prof. Mamman Sabbah Jibril; and APC caretaker committee deputy chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Samari; amongst other APC chieftains.

“The Governor sends his heartfelt condolences to the Olododos on this sad incident. It was indeed one tragedy too many. Specifically, His Excellency commiserates with Honourable Olododo on the passing of his dear wife. He also condoles with the Technical Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture Mallam Abdulqowiy Olodo and his siblings on this irreplaceable loss of their jewel of inestimable value who left a legacy of being a strong pillar of the family,” according to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Rafiu Ajakaye.

“On behalf of his family, the people and government of Kwara State, the Governor prays the Almighty Allaah to grant Alhaja Fatimah Olododo al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort the family she left behind at this sober period. He urges the family, especially Hon. Olododo and the children, to take solace in the impactful life of the deceased.”
