Rotamedics Pharmacy MD, Abdulraheem Bags Most Outstanding Pharmacist Award

 

…To Host Annual Charity Day

The Managing Director, Rotamedics Pharmacy, Dr. Abdulraheem Malik has been awarded the Most Outstanding Pharmacist of the year 2021 by National Telescope Newspaper.

Speaking during the award presentation in Ilorin, the Chairman, National Telescope Newspaper, Mr. Olusegun Toye who was represented by the editor, Mr. Adebayo Olodan stated that Dr. Abdulraheem was nominated for the Award by the board after considering his track record.

He said, “we have been following your activities in recent years and we sincerely appreciate what you have been doing in terms of humanitarian service and how you have been helping the less privileged in the society especially the annual offering of free health care in Kwara. This is one important reason why the medium see you as the most deserving to receive this award at this point in time.

“Its true that many out there are always busy looking for money and their daily bread and in the process, they neglect the state of their health. Some others are afraid of the financial implication of going for regular checkup but with people like you around a lot of life will be saved from on timely death.

Nigeria especially at this critical stage needs people who are not thinking only about themselves and their family alone but going a step further to care for others within their immediate community. We strongly believe good citizens like who are helping others in the midst of all that is happening in the country deserve to be appreciated and recognized.” He added.

He however enjoined Dr. Abdulraheem not to relent in his humanitarian service but rather continue to do more.

While delivering his acceptance speech, the seasoned Pharmacist and Health Economist appreciated National Telescope for the award, and promised more robust Outreach programs.

He disclosed that, his company will be introducing an Annual Charity Day which will enable other individuals and philanthropists in the State to partner to deliver more supports to Kwarans.

He said, “on behalf of the entire management and staff of Rotamedics Pharmacy, I want to say thank you to National Telescope for this honour given to me, am really humbled and I believe this will inspire more activities in helping the people.

“We have planned every year now to keep doing our free medical care and we are introducing a Annual Charity Day where other well meaning Nigerians can have opportunity to also partner with us by donating whatever they can afford in other to have a more robust Outreach to reach out to more less privileged people in Kwara. we are looking at starting by the grace of God in 6 months time.

“And as I always say, we can’t leave everything to the State Government, we should do our part as well, so I want to use this medium to call on compatriots out there to contact any of our office to partner as we prepare for our Annual Charity Day.” He added.
