Saliu Mustapha’s Bill on Agricultural Land Development Authority Passes First Reading

The Senator representing Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has presented bill for amendment of The National Agricultural Land Development Authority Act.
The National Agricultural Land Development Authority Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023 sponsored by Saliu Mustapha passes first reading at Plenary on Wednesday.
The bill seeks to amend the existing National Agricultural Land Development Authority Act, 1992 by increasing the availability of land for agricultural purposes.
The bill is now expected to go through a second reading. As the bill’s sponsor, I will be leading the debate during the second reading.
Recall that Senator Saliu Mustapha who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Agriculture, presented Energy Transaction Bill 2023 for first reading in August.
