Senator Abiru Attends Buhari’s Funeral in Daura

The Senator representing Lagos East, Senator Tokunbo Abiru on Tuesday attended the funeral of former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.

Senator Abiru joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Principal officers of the National Assembly, top government and private sector functionaries, at the State funeral.

According to him, as the Chairman of the Southern Senators Forum, I had earlier extolled the legacies of the late leader, and his valuable contributions to political and socio-economic development of our dear country.

“May Almighty Allah grant him Aljanah Firdaus, and give the loved ones, and the entire nation the fortitude to bear the loss!” He added
