Senator Ashiru Congratulates New Monarchs in Kwara south
The Deputy Senate Leader and Lawmaker representing Kwara south senatorial district, Architect Oyelola Yisa Ashiru has congratulated the four newly installed traditional rulers from Kwara South.
The new monarchs Elerin of Erin-Ile, Oba Adesoye Jimoh, Oloro of Oro, Oba Joel Oyatoye Titiloye, the Gbamoyin of Jimba-Oja, Oba Adebayo Olanrewaju Ismail and the Edemarun of Kajola, Oba Johnson Olajide Kehinde on their presentation of staff of office by the Kwara State Government.
In a congratulatory message, Senator Ashiru felicitated with the monarchs for ascension to the throne of their forefathers. He urged them to work for the peace, progress and development of their people.
Ashiru also encouraged the monarchs to use their revered offices to improve the lots of their kingdoms by working productively with the people and government at all levels.
His words: “On your shoulders lie the onerous obligations to protect the cultural heritage of your people , promoting their well-being and ensuring a peaceful environment for the enhancement of their economic prosperity.
