Senator Ashiru Drills Additional 16 Boreholes in Kwara South

 

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Arch Oyelola Yisa Ashiru has completed drilling and installation of additional 16 boreholes to ensure provision of clean and potable water to his constituents.

The new boreholes projects spread across the seven local government areas in Kwara South Senatorial district.

In Offa got three new boreholes situated at Ile-Olowa, Afelele area and Igbodun. Six communities in Ifelodun local government benefited from the water project, namely; Ganmo, Yaru, Babanla, Eji Omiaro, Babaloma and Share. Erinle in Oyun local government also gets new borehole.

The each local government area in Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-ero Federal Constituency also benefited from the new water supply project. Rore/Aranrin, Omido and Ajengbe communities in Irepodun local government get one borehole each. Osi (Ekiti LG), Odo-Owa (Oke-ero LG) and Iji-Isin (Isin LG) also benefited.

Recall that Igosun in OYUN LG; Iludun-Oro, Egudu and Igbonla in Irepodun LG; Osi and Eruku in Ekiti LG and Owode-Ofaro, Babanloma, Shekun Owode and Amoyo in Ifelodun LG are enjoying 10 boreholes provided by Senator Oyelola Ashiru.

The Senator who is seeking second term on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) has attracted more federal government presence to seven local government areas in Kwara South Senatorial district through project facilitation and implementation of sustainable empowerment programs.
