Senator Ashiru Facilitates One-week Digital Literacy/STEM Training
Senator Oyelola Ashiru, representing Kwara South Senatorial District and serving as the Deputy Senate Leader, has once again demonstrated his commitment to empowering his constituents through technology-driven initiatives.
In collaboration with Wiesbaden Nigeria Limited, Senator Ashiru is sponsoring a one-week training programme on Digital Literacy and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for Beginners, from September 30th to October 4th, 2024, at One Innovation Hub Offa (ONEIH), Kwara State.
This new initiative follows closely on the heels of the successful Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design and Fabrication training held at ONEIH-Kola Balogun Technology Center (O-KBTC). The programme , which ran from September 23rd to 28th, was sponsored by the National Productivity Center (NPC) and facilitated by Senator Ashiru as part of his ongoing efforts to equip young people with practical skills in technology and innovation.
The upcoming Digital Literacy and STEM training aims to provide foundational knowledge to beginners, particularly focusing on the youth of Kwara South, as part of a broader strategy to foster technological development and innovation in the region.
