Senator Ashiru Gets Another Award, Promises To Facilitate More Developmental Projects

Kwara based Online Media Platform, Prudentwatch on Wednesday presented award of 2023 Lawmaker of the year to Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Oyelola Ashiru.

Senator Ashiru emerged as Lawmaker of the Year (Senator category) during 3rd Prudentwatch Annual Lecture/Award held at NUJ Press Centre, Ilorin on December 8, 2023.

According to the organizers, the Senator representing Kwara South emerged based on his excellent performance in lawmaking, project facilitation and empowerment programmes tailored towards improving well being of Constituents.

The Publisher Prudentwatch, Lukman Abdulquadri Olarewaju while presenting the award to Senator Ashiru at Offa GRA Residence, acknowledged his contributions at the National Assembly and community development including rural areas.

Lukman said the selection committee nominated the Senator after thorough assessment of his projects and feedback from Constituents across seven local government areas in Kwara South.

Reacting, Ashiru pledged to continue to facilitate more developmental projects to the Senatorial district, noting that Kwara South is well covered in 2024 budget.
