Senator Ashiru Highlights Goodies for Kwara South in 2023 Budget
Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Arch Oyelola Ashiru on Sunday hosted his constituents for 2023 new year celebration.
Senator Ashiru as part of ways of connecting with the people celebrated the new year with some constituents drawn from the seven local government areas at his Offa residence.
The Senator used the opportunity to appreciate Kwara South people for their support since his election in 2019, noting that he has been prioritizing collectively interest of the Senatorial district as a responsive and responsible representative.
He stated that he has facilitated delivery of dividends of democracy to Kwara South local government areas; Ekiti, Isin, Offa, Oke-ero, Oyun, Ifelodun and Irepodun.
Senator Ashiru said his interventions in each local government was based on priority needs of the people, adding that ‘Peoples’ needs are different from community to community but we have impacted every local government area positively’.
The Offa born Senator who is the Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Housing disclosed a lot of projects and empowerment programmes that have been included into 2023 budget. Which its implementation will add more development to the district.
He added that 2022 budget implementation is still ongoing, that the sites handover will commence in few days soon.
Ashiru, the APC Senatorial Candidate in Kwara South for 2023 elections, therefore implored of the electorates to reelect him to consolidate on first time achievements.
