Senator Ashiru Highlights His Efforts in Changing Kwara South Economic Landscape

Kwara South Lawmakers have contributed tremendously to the Economy development of the Senatorial district.

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Sen. Oyelola Ashiru, made this known at Kwara South Development Initiative Conference held at Thomas Adewumi University, Oko, Irepodun Local Government.

In his goodwill message, the Senator highlighted the beauty entrenched in Kwara South, suffice to say, the district should be a home for tourists across globe.

He further highlighted his effort in changing the economic landscape of the district through projects facilitation that centers on Social infrastructure, Tourism upscaling, Education, Health, amongst others.

The Senator also made it known at the gathering that, he has facilitated the construction of Ikotun/Offa road, saying this will be in addition to the ongoing road projects that the state government has embarked on at rondo axis.

Speaking further, he commended other National Assembly members and the State house of assembly members for their legislative contributions to the district. While he also assured the audience that APC government will do more for the economy extension of the Senatorial district.

He further stated that he will intensify his effort to synergise with other elected lawmakers and appointees of the state government from the district for to enhance more collaboration.

He appreciated the State Governor, ably represented by the Deputy Governor, HE Kayode Alabi, for providing a purposive leadership, for his love to all the strata of the society and for his special love to the people of Kwara South.

He further commended the Convener of the conference, Dr. Thomas Adewumi for his love geared towards the growth of the district and for being a compassionate community developer.
