Senator Ashiru Mourns Ex-Kwara Governor, Latinwo

…Says Offa has lost a giant

The Senator representing Kwara South, Oyelola Ashiru has mourned the death of former Military Governor of Kwara State, Group Captain Salaudeen Latinwo (rtd).

Group Captain Salaudeen Latinwo passed on Saturday at 82.

Senator Ashiru while condoling with Olofa of Offa and other indigenes of the ancient town, said the former Military Administrator was a great loss to Offa, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Senator noted that contributions of the deceased from reputable Latinwo family to Kwara State development while serving under Former President Muhammadu Buhari as Military leader of Nigeria, saying he also made huge impacts with his support towards development of Offa through activities participation in community activities.

He therefore implored his immediate family to take solace in avalanche of tributes trailing the passage of Group Captain Latinwo.

Ashiru prays to Almighty Allah to grant him al-jannah Firdaus and comfort the family he left behind.
