Senator Ashiru Visits Ilemona, Hails Monarch’s Investment in Developmental Projects

The Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South, Architect Oyelola Ashiru on Wednesday visited Ilemona in Oyun local government.

Senator Ashiru during visit toured newly established Kara Market, noting that it will contribute to economic development of the town.

The Senator was accompanied by the Chairman Ilemona Descendant Progressive Union (IDPU) Hon. Richard Agbola.

He hailed the community’s significant development under the leadership of the Kabiesi, Elemona of Ilemona, OBA Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf.

His words: “My visit coincided with the 10th Kara Market, and I spent several hours touring the market and discussing plans with the community development chairman.

“Our office has been exploring ways to modernize select markets in the senatorial district, including the Kara market in Ilemona.”

Senator Ashiru also visited the Ilemona Sports Arena, marveling at the Kabiesi’s vision for youth and sports development. He therefore hinted on plan to complement these developmental initiatives.
