Shaare/Oke-ode: SDP Aspirant, Akogun Inaugurates Ward Coordinators
Leading Social Democratic Party (SDP) aspirant for Shaare/Oke-ode State Constituency, AbdulRasheed Akogun on Saturday inaugurated Ward Coordinators for his campaign.
AbdulRasheed Akogun inaugurated 20 ward coordinators in his home town Oke-ode on the sideline of meeting with 10 ward Chairmen across the State constituency.
According to him, The interactions and feedbacks were positive and reassuring, thus the Chairmen promised their unflinching support for the aspiration, stressing that I’ve always shown capacity, competence, integrity and above all, undiluted love for the people of the constituency.
He charged the two ward coordinators from each political ward to mobilize support for him ahead of 2023 general elections.
Akogun added that victory is assured if we all toil diligently and show uncommon dedication.
His words: “I also charged them to while working within the party structure (SDP) towards ensuring we emerge as candidate, we should also start marketing the party to the whole communities.
“Finally, I used the opportunity to also attend my ward meeting where I received heroic welcome from all and sundry and was unanimously adopted as the consensus candidate of Oke-Ode district, comprising of Oke-Ode ward 1, 2 and 3.”
