Share/Oke-Ode Constituency: Tribunal To Commence Hearing of Obayomi’s Petition
The election petition tribunal is set to commence hearing of petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Assembly candidate for Share/Oke-Ode Constituency, Barr Azeez Olaitan Obayomi against Hon Rasaq Owolabi of the All Progressives Congress.
FactualTimes reports that Obayomi has not withdraw his petition against Razaq Owolabi the acclaimed winner of the election.
Recall that the petition was filed on 6th April Against the INEC, APC and Owolabi Rasaq as 1st, 2nd and 3rd Respondents Respectively.

Each of the Respondents have replied to the Petition wherein the petitioners also filed their reply to the Replies of the Respondents.
The last reply which is response to the 3rd Respondent’s reply was filed on May 22 when it will be deemed that the Pleadings have closed.
As at this report the petitioners has filed application for Tribunal to issue Pre-Trial Form and possibly settling down the matter for Pre-Trial.
“I am encouraging our supporters and well wishes to remain calm and peaceful. Our vision for a prosperous Share/Oke-Ode constituency may have been delayed temporarily, but the struggle shall continue until we reach our destination.” Obayomi assured.
