Strike: NLC, TUC Arrive Aso Rock To Meet FG

The leaders of Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress have arrived Presidential Villa, Abuja to brief Federal Government on planned strike.

FactualTimes reports that NLC and TUC earlier held separate emergency National Executive Council meeting to discuss offers made by Tinubu led administration to stop October 3 strike action.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu on Sunday announced N25,000 additional wage for Federal Government workers to cushion effect of fuel subsidy removal.

The payment will run for six months before negotiation of new minimum wage in 2024.
