Tinubu Appoints Ex-Lagos Commissioner As NCDC Director General
President Bola Tinubu has appointed a former Commissioner of Health in Lagos state, Dr. Olajide Idris as the new Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The Special Adviser to the President on Media, Ajuri Ngelale disclosed in a statement made available to FactualTimes in Abuja on Thursday.

Dr Olayide Idris is expected to assume duties on Monday February 19, 2024.
The President also reappointed Prof Mojo Adeyeye as Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Dr. Mansur Kabir as Board Chairperson.
