The 7-day Fidau Prayer of late Hajia Mariyam Mohammed Ajia created platform for Islamic Scholars, Community Leaders to pay tribute to the matriarch of Ajia family who passed on last week in Abuja.
The convergence of crowd at Ajia Ogbonde compound, Agaka-Isale Fulani, Ilorin, Kwara State was a testament that Hajia Mariyam Mohammed Ajia lived a good and Impactful life.
One of the Islamic clerics praised the matriarch of Ajia family for training her children on strong foundation of islam, adding that she spent resources in promoting the religion without discrimination.
He affirmed that Almighty Allah rewarded Hajia Maryam’s good deeds by blessing her with good children who are making impact in the society.
The Chief Imam of Ilorin is Sheikh (Dr) Muhammad Bashir Soliu while leading the prayer ask Almighty Allah to forgive Hajia Maryam shortcomings and grant her Al-jannatu Firdaus.
Dan Amana Fune and President FUNAB Group of Companies, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia while addressing newsmen paid glowing tribute to his mother, late Hajia Mariyam Mohammed Ajia at the 7 Day Fidau Prayer in Ilorin.
Ajia, the Peoples Democratic Party House of Representatives Candidate for Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency in 2023, shared the story of how withdraws post election petition following his mother’s directive.
He described late Mariyam Mohammed Ajia as a community builder and symbol of unity.
He appreciated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for sending State delegation to 7-day Fidau Prayer, noting that the Governor spoke with him earlier in day.
Ajia also thanked the former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, all serving Senators from Kwara State, House of Representatives Members and others for attending the prayer in Abuja.
Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari represented Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin, Dr. Atolagbe Abubakar Jos, Prince Modibbo Sulu Gambari, Personal Assistant to Emir of Ilorin, Dr Murtala Raheem and Mogajis were in attendance.
The Special Adviser Special Duties to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led Kwara State Government delegation to the fidau prayer.
