Trump Appoints Elon Musk As Head Government Efficiency
United States president-elect Donald Trump has appointed Elon Musk to lead the Department of Government Efficiency.
Trump in a statement issued on Tuesday said Elon Musk, the SpaceX CEO will help his administration to dismantle bureaucracy, improve efficiency and cut wasteful spending.
The owner of X (formerly known as Twitter) will bring his experience in private sector to improve US federal agencies.
He will work alongside Vivek Ramaswamy, a former presidential candidate and ally of Trump to lead a new Department of Government Efficiency.
