IMO SA DIASPORA CALLS FOR ‘WORLD BOOK DAY’ ACTION FROM DIASPORANS.
The Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Diaspora Affairs, Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert urged Imo Diasporans to donate books to disadvantaged kids, send a ‘tenner’ directly to a student back home and sponsor education for an underprivileged pupils in Nigeria.
Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert made this call after reading with her two kids to mark ‘World Book Day’.
She said reading with any family kids; nephew, nieces, grandkids, kids and sponsoring of education for an underprivileged kid will empower them.
She also thanked all Diasporans who are already doing this and asks for more to follow suit.
The Special Adviser also sponsored a 9 year old in Mbaitoli LGA and an 11 year old in Isu LGA for a full year of Education. Enjoy the World Book Day and send us your ‘action stories or
