After four long impactful days in the United Arab Emirates, we concluded our official visit yesterday (Thursday) with high-level engagements at Alef Education and Hub71 — two globally renowned institutions driving innovation in education and technology.
At Alef Education, discussions focused on the future of AI-powered, personalized learning and how it aligns with Nigeria’s youth development goals. We explored potential collaborations to co-develop localized content, adaptive learning systems, and training programs for educators — all aimed at delivering quality digital education to over 7 million young Nigerians, especially those in underserved communities.
At Hub71 in Abu Dhabi, we were inspired by the energy of its startup ecosystem. We explored soft-landing opportunities for Nigerian youth-led startups, access to global capital and mentorship, and innovation exchange programs — all of which can help position Nigeria as a tech leader in Africa.

These engagements set the stage for our final and most symbolic stop — a strategic meeting with the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), a global hub for innovation and future thinking.
We presented our youth development framework focused on AI, Robotics, and the Digital Economy. DFF expressed strong alignment with our vision and committed to exploring collaborative pathways to connect Nigerian youth with global innovation networks, ecosystem expertise, and future-focused learning.
In an extraordinary gesture, the DFF leadership granted our delegation VIP access to the Museum of the Future — a rare honour as the Museum is fully booked for the next three years. We were proud to be the first Nigerian official delegation ever hosted at this iconic institution since its opening in 2020.
In a personal highlight, the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, His Excellency Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele was presented with a limited-edition torus-shaped specimen from the Museum — the 37th in its series, reflecting his current age. This rare privilege was personally approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.
This journey has been a clear validation of our mission: to ensure that Nigerian youth are not just participants in the global future, but leaders shaping it. We are proud of the firm commitments we received from government leaders and institutions throughout our engagements, and we are optimistic that the impact of this visit will materialise soonest for the benefit of Nigerian youth.
