2027: PDP Commits ‘Big Error’ By Zoning Presidency To South -Gbenga Hashim
A frontline Politician, Dr. Olawepo Gbenga Hashim has described zoning of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket to south by Party National Executive Council as a ‘big error’.
Gbenga Hashim stated this on Monday while featuring on Channels TV Politics Today to react to outcome the 102nd PDP NEC Meeting in Abuja.
He said the decision would lead to constitutional crisis as it amounts to discrimination against Presidential Aspirants on northern region.
The Business Mogul hinted PDP Aspirants from the north may seek alternative platform to contest 2027 Presidential Election.
According to him, PDP zoning of presidential ticket to South will pave way for Tinubu’s reelection.
Olawepo however acknowledged that the process was democratic by gaining support of all party organs, saying PDP usually embraces internal democracy.
