KOZ Electric Vehicles Deploys Electric Motorcycles To Rural Areas
KOZ Electric Vehicles has deployed electric motorcycles to some rural areas in Nigeria.
The General Manager of the company, Temitope Oluwagbamila disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen during the weekend.

Oluwagbamila said :”In our sustained commitment to the development of rural communities in Kwara State in particular and Nigeria as a whole, we have started testing the workability of electric-powered motorcycles in some communities in Kwara State since April.
“It will remain ironic that the community where the initial electric motorcycles were deployed enjoyed uninterrupted power supply, hence our reason for choosing the place.”
According to him, the electric motorcycle can travel 70-80km when fully charged, and it usually takes two hours to charge optimally. Since its introduction, we have not recorded any report of downtime. It is the cheapest in town with a lithium battery.
