Kwara To Host NACCIMA Annual General Meeting As Jani Ibrahim Emerges President
The Kwara Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) has expressed its readiness to host the 65th Annual General Meeting of National Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
The Chairman of Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Engr. Abu Salami disclosed this on Thursday while addressing newsmen at press conference held at KWACCIMA Secretariat, Ganmo.
Engr Salami disclosed that a prominent Business Mogul in Kwara, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim will be inaugurated as the 23rd NACCIMA President at the AGM themed- Harmony 2025.
Jani Ibrahim is Known for his strong influence in both local and international business circles. He will bring his wealth of experience and leadership prowess to bring new energy to the business landscape in Kwara.
He said the Conference which will be attended by participants from different states in the country will reshape the future of business in the State.
According to him, Harmony 2025 is more than a theme but geared towards creating synergy between government and business leaders.
The event slated for June 17 and 19 will hold at Banquet Hall, Ilorin with side attractions such as golf tournament, cultural night and visit to dignitaries including Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Emir of Ilorin.
In her remarks, Kwara State Commissioner for Business Innovation and Technology represented by Mr Omotosho Omoniyi hinted on how the government has been supporting businesses in the state.
Omoniyi said introduced tax reductions for business owners and provide support through Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) in order to ease the burden of entrepreneurs and stimulate growth.
He used citizens to imbibe tax paying habit to enable the government to improve infrastructures for businesses to grow.
