We need to collectively improve voting strength of Kwara – Yahaya Seriki
The President/CEO Kursi Investment and a Stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC), Amb Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari has appealed to Kwarans to participate in ongoing INEC Continuous Voter’s registration ahead of 2027 general elections.
Yahaya Seriki in a personal letter to Kwarans on Wednesday, observed that 33,726 registered for the CVR exercise during the online pre-registration.
According to him, the statistics released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the ongoing Continuous Voter’s Registration shows the level of participation is low in Kwara State.
“For me, the issue of Voter’s registration is important and we need to step up awareness to encourage eligible young Kwarans who clocked 18 years in 2023, 2024 and 2025 to register. INEC will only recognise PVC on election day, therefore political stakeholders irrespective of their Parties must mobilize people to register in order to vote during future elections.
“We need to collectively improve voting strength of Kwara State and the journey starts with Voter’s registration”. Yahaya Seriki explained..
The Business Mogul however commended Kwara APC leadership under Prince Sunday Fagbemi for energising Party structure in each ward to mobilize populace for the exercise.
