Ilorin South LG Security Arrests Suspected Kidnappers

The local security operatives in Ilorin South local government on Friday arrested two suspected Kidnappers terrorising communities in the council area.

The suspected Kidnappers were arrested at Abelu by the local government’s security team following intelligence from locals.

According to information release by Podo New Media, a coordinated raid at Abelu, a known hideout for the suspects, resulted in their swift capture.

During the operation, the suspects were found in possession of a bicycle, which they utilized to blend in with unsuspecting cyclists, thus facilitating their abduction plans without drawing attention.

Recall that Ilorin South local government Chairman, Hon Majeed Podo upon assumption of office engaged additional 90 security officers to address insecurity challenge.
