2023: Buko Leads Kwara North Power Shift Advocates To PDP Secretariat

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate of  for Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Musa Idris Buko on Thursday led Kwara North Advocates  Party leadership in Ilorin.

Buko, alongside select Power Shift Advocates across Kwara North Senatorial District were received by the State Party Chairman, Rt. Hon. Babatunde Mohammed and the State Treasurer; Rt. Hon. Gabriel Kannajogun.

According to Buko, We are here to officially express gratitude to the People’s Democratic Party in the State for deeming Kwara North worthy of the Governorship position in 2023, and generously ceding the party’s platform to actualize this dream, with massive support.

Buko also commended the courage of the National Leader of the Party, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for his incredible support and believe in Kwara North, notwithstanding the poor outcome of the elections in especially that part of the State.

“Notwithstanding the outcome of the elections, history would judge us fairly, for standing for this noble course, and of course Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for fulfilling his vow to our people on political inclusion in the State’s realm of play.” He noted.

The Community Development Mobilizer used the opportunity to thank PDP and Saraki for heeding the cry of the youths on political inclusion, which provided Hon. Buko for instance; the rare privilege to contest a national election on the Party’s platform.

The team led by Buko prayed Allah reward the Party leadership abundantly, as no amount can compensate the huge sacrifice made during the campaigns in the nooks and crany of the region with worst road infrastructures, long travel distances and huge cost of campaign logistics accompanying the difficult terrains.

The Baruten Agripreneur reiterated the team’s commitment to the vision and mission of the Party in Kwara and Nigeria at large; and prays the Party grows from strength to strength.

In his reaction, the State Party Chairman lauded Hon. Buko and his team for the visit, assuring the message is acknowledged and would be passed to the State Party Executive and the National Leader.

The entourage include Hon. AA Galadima, Engr. Umar Farouq Idris, Comr. Nurudeen Muhammad, Comr. Yunusa Ubandawaki Musa and Comr. Abdulhamid Idris; who are all representatives of Power Shift Advocates across the five LGAs.
