Fintiri Wins 2023 Adamawa Governorship Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Ahmadu Fintiri as winner of 2023 Adamawa governorship election.
Fintiri was declared winner around 5:49pm on Tuesday by INEC Returning Officer for Adamawa 2023.
The incumbent Governor of Adamawa polled 430,821 votes to defeat Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed popularly known as Binani who had a total of 396,788 votes.
INEC finally put to rest the drama and controversies of the keenly contested Adamawa 2023 election held on March 18 and April 15 (supplementary election).
